I walk through this field frequently, and I love having a familiar place to come back to over and over again to paint. It’s nice to see the same place through different seasons and through changes that happens over the years. In this spot I’ve seen trees die or get taken down by beavers, herds of cows come and go, roofs renovated, but through all that it feels very much the same.
